Bear Cafe

One of Seoul's oldest hanok cafes, Bear is in historic Seochon Hanok Village, a neighbourhood of narrow lanes and traditional houses next to Gyeongbok Royal Palace.

The cafe opens to a central courtyard garden, just like all traditional Korean houses, so you can enjoy the seasonal changes of nature with your coffee.

There is also a selection of teas on offer - the image here is the 'Omija' (Five-flavour Berry) Tea, a traditional Korean tea that is more accurately a single-fruit tisane. There is also a small gallery/bookstore space.
