Cafe Sasa
Enjoy a spring morning in Seoul at peaceful Sasa. This hanok cafe is on a narrow lane that runs alongside the stone boundary wall of historic Jongmyo Shrine in central Seoul.
'Sasa' means the sound of the wind through the trees. Spend some time in this calm space and listen for the breeze in the leaves of the tall trees in the garden of the Shrine, right across the lane.
Sit at the open window with a view of the lane and an iced plum ade. Go upstairs where the sunlight filters through the timber screens, and have traditional fruit sweets and chrysanthemum tea served in Korean White Porcelain.
