Solbangul Bakery

A Seoul hanok cafe with a peaceful courtyard at its heart, Solbangul Bakery is on a narrow lane next to historic Jongmyo Shrine.

There's a single small pine tree in the courtyard, giving the cafe its name: 'Solbangul', meaning pine cone.

They bake a selection of bread and pastries daily, including Korean-style soft sweet bread rolls made with ingredients like pumpkin and sweet red bean paste.

One of the loveliest hanok cafes in Seoul, the calm atmosphere created by the traditional timber architecture is perfect for a quiet break from the busy city.
