Celadon Round Vase

A generous rounded form in the highest quality jade-hued Korean Celadon, this mid-size vase is perfect for flowers or as a stand-alone minimalist piece.

The glaze is very smooth and glass-like. The high gloss gives deep reflections off the curved surface, with a network of very fine cracks visible below the surface.

Prized throughout history for its ultra-smooth jade-coloured glaze, Korean Celadon, or Cheong-ja, represents a pinnacle of ceramic technique.  It has been produced in Korea since the 10th century.
