White Baby Moon Jar

The smallest member of our Moon Jar family, this work in fine White Korean Porcelain is adorned with a light sprinkling of tiny dark speckles.

It's delicate and light, with finely balanced proportions. The glaze is transparent and the surface has a subtle texture.

Korean White Porcelain, or Baekja, was the choice of royalty from the early Joseon era (1392-1897) for its high quality and simple elegance embodying the Confucian values of purity and modesty.  It is still crafted today using the same centuries-old techniques.
