White Square Platform

This minimalist design in pristine Korean White Porcelain is an elegant way to display or serve something special.

The edges are slightly rounded, showing the hand of the artist in each piece. There is only a minimal gloss to the transparent glaze.

The ceramic platform is a traditional item of the Korean interior. A simple way to add beauty to daily life, it literally elevates whatever you put on top, like a small sprig of flowers or a few sweets.

Korean White Porcelain, or Baekja, was the choice of royalty from the early Joseon era (1392-1897) for its high quality and simple elegance embodying the Confucian values of purity and modesty.  It is still crafted today using the same centuries-old techniques.
